Venture Out Program Leader
Part Time, 20 - 25 hours/week, $18 - $20/hr
Starting immediately, this position will be responsible for working with the program & site coordinator to ensure all programming goals are met. Work with the programming team to offer after school groups, once monthly day trips, occasional overnight trips, summer day trips, occasional summer 4-7 day overnight trips and one-on-one and small group mentoring activities for middle and high school youth. Applicants must be available during youth programming hours to qualify. Programming and schedules are typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekend trips. Qualified applicants will have a positive and friendly personality, proven ability to build rapport with youth and adults, and be able to engage participants in a fun and educational experience. Strong communication and safety assessment skills are required, as well as proven experience working with youth in the outdoors.
