Venture Out Program Assistant
Part time, 20 hours/week, $17 - $18.50/hr with opportunities for growth within the role.
Starting in October 2025, this position will be responsible for working with the program team to ensure all programming goals are met. Work with the programming team to offer weekly after school groups, monthly weekend day trips and occasional overnight trips for youth in grades 6 - 8 and 9 -12 throughout the school year. Additionally, you'll assist in offering weekly summer day camps and occasional overnight camping and backpacking trips throughout the summer. Programming typically takes place Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and overnight activities. Please refer to the job description below for more details.
Qualified applicants will have a positive and friendly personality, proven ability to build rapport with youth and adults, and be able to engage participants in a fun and educational experience. Strong communication and safety assessment skills are required, as well as proven experience working with youth in the outdoors.
