Venture OUT Program Coordinator
BEAR is seeking a Program Coordinator for our Venture OUT outdoor-based mentoring programs. We're looking for a dynamic, energetic, and responsible leader with outdoor knowledge and skills to facilitate and lead youth ages 12-17 in one-on-one mentoring, as well as lead groups, day trips, multi-day trips, and facilitate the ropes challenge course. We need someone who is talented at working with people who sometimes have very challenging behaviors, has a passion for connecting youth to the outdoors, and is also ready to take on the complexities of managing the programs. This is a chance for a self-starter to grow and enhance impactful community services. The demands of this position are challenging, and the rewards of affecting youth's lives, as well as how they interact with the natural environment and the community, are great.
The position is 32-35 hours/week average.
Flexible schedule but must include Monday and Wednesday after school groups; 1-2 weekend days per month; some one on one mentoring; occasional 4-7 day summer trips.
$16/hour and overnight trip wage to start; opportunities for increases based on performance reviews.
Benefits include: annual leave, sick leave, all federal holidays, and health cost wages.

Program Leader

BEAR is looking to hire 1 Program Leader. The Program Leader will work with youth ages 12-17 year old.
The position is 35 Hours/week average and the pay is $15 per hour.
This position is open until filled and on a first come, first served basis.
