Venture OUT Clubs are another awesome way to participate in B.E.A.R. mentoring programs, without necessarily participating in the in-school groups. Climbing club, camping club, and Sk8 club are open to all Bitterroot Valley middle school youth with a passion for adventure. Each club meets once a quarter for an activity or trip, led by B.E.A.R. staff, peer mentors and other qualified professionals. A one year commitment to the club selected is preferred, and serves our goal of developing group cohesion and trust amongst its members. Space is limited in these clubs and registration is required, so sign up early if you wish to participate. Each club has a corresponding camp held over the summer and camp participation is highly encouraged for club members. Non-club members will be allowed to attend club events if there are spots available on a first come, first serve basis.
